Carson Middle School is located at 1140 W King St in Carson City, Nevada. Enrollment is about 1158 students in grades 6-8. The Principal is Sam Santillo and the PE department chair is Gail Hebert.
The school has two crossing guards, who are assigned to manage bus and vehicle traffic.
Participation in the fall 2009 Walk to School Day was about 10%.

SRTS Grant 2009-2011
Carson MS is one of the eight schools included in the 2009-2011 SRTS grant to the school district of $259K, of which $142K is for infrastructure and $117K for non-infrastructure. Carson MS was tentatively allocated $10,000 for infrastructure. Carson MS is also part of the $500K SRTS grant to Carson City Public Works, which tentatively indentifies several projects near Carson MS.
