Fremont Elementary School is located at 1511 Firebox Rd in Carson City, Nevada. Enrollment is about 571 students in grades K-5. The Principal is Casey Gilles, the Vice Principal is Dan Brown, and the PE Specialist is Jackie Geraets-Rauh.
Fremont has two crossing guards, over Firebox Road at Saliman Road, and over Saliman Road mid-block adjacent to the school.

SRTS Grant 2009-2011
Fremont is one of the eight schools included in the 2009-2011 SRTS grant to the school district of $259K, of which $142K is for infrastructure and $117K for non-infrastructure. Fremont was tentatively allocated $7,500 for infrastructure. Fremont is also part of the $500K SRTS grant to Carson City Public Works, which tentatively indentifies several projects near Fremont. SRTS Grant 2008-2009
The district received a grant of $23,244 for implemention of the SRTS program at Fremont Elementary in the 2008-2009 school year. The speed trailer will be used at all district elementary schools on a rotating basis.
